Family: Myrtaceae
Scientific name: Eucalyptus pauciflora ssp. pauciflora
Common name: Snow Gum
Origin: Mount Buller, Victoria (Australia)

This variety of the hardy Eucalyptus pauciflora grows at altitudes between 1.400-1.700 meters at Mount Buller, a mountain in Victoria with a summit of 1.805 meters high. This would therefore perhaps be the most hardy eucalyptus ever found. The tree performs just great in a temperate climate, where it will reach a height between 4-8 meters. The white-grey trunk has regular brown red stripes and is therefore very graceful.
