Product description

The delicious sweet persimmons growing on a hardy tree, so you can grow your own kaki persimmons. The fruits ripen in autumn and are soft and orange-colored. Originally, the kaki originates from the Himalayas where it has been cultivated for centuries. Kaki trees survived the atomic disaster in Hiroshima, and is also used in Chinese medicine against radioactive damage and disease. In nature, it can reach a height up to 15 meters high tree. It can be pruned well, making it suitable for every garden.

Sowing description: First scarify the seeds with some sand paper and then let them soak in lukewarm water for 24 hours. Sow the seeds in sowing mix at around 25 degC and keep the soil constantly moist.

Alie

Na 6 weken zijn 3 van de 6 zaden ontkiemt. Dat zijn inmiddels mooie plantjes. De kiemblaadjes kwamen moeilijk uit de pit. Dat duurde zo lang dat ik zelf de pit verder open heb gemaakt.
