An attractive tree fern with a thin stem (less than 5 cm) and light green leaves up to 1 meter long. Likes a shady spot and has to be watered regularly. Can stand the cold quite well, but has to be protected against frost and strong winds. 

Sowing description: Do not cover the spores and scatter them in sowing mix in a warm and moisty environment. The temperature has to attain at least 25 degrees Celsius, and the soil mustn’t dry out. Germination usually occurs within three months, but it can sometimes take a little while longer. Water the seeds regularly to stimulate germination.

Minimum temperature: -3 degrees Celsius
