A variety of kiwi whose leaves are quite remarkable. After a couple of years they will look as if they have been dipped in paint. The plant can self-pollinate so the sweet, edible fruits can also grow on a single plant. A sheltered place in the sun gives the best fruits in a temperate climate, though the plant itself is hardy up to -40 degrees Celsius.

Sowing description: Keep the seeds in the refrigerator for the first 4-8 weeks , then sow them in sowing soil at 20 degrees Celsius. If there is no germination after a few weeks, you can re-refrigerate the seeds. After 4-8 weeks, take the seeds out again and keep them in a warm space or environment.

Family: Actinidiaceae
Scientific name: Actinidia kolomikta
Common name: Siberian kiwi
Native to: Japan/Northern China

Sowing time: November - June
Difficulty: Intermediate
Minimum temperature: -40 degrees Celcius

zaden eerst in koelkast. Een paar in papieren zakje, een paar op natte tissue in plastic zakje en een paar op vochtig mos in afsluitbaar plastic zakje.
Die op het mos zijn al mooi gekiemd. Nu op teelgrrond en afwachten.
