Thermostat ROOT!T

For successful germination, not only sufficient warmth but also the right temperature is important. Many tropical and subtropical seeds require a specific temperature to germinate successfully. With the ROOT!T thermostat, you can accurately control the temperature of the growing medium, creating conditions that better meet the needs of the seeds.

The thermostat can be combined with heat mats, such as the ROOT!T Heat Mat (25 × 35 cm, 11 watts), as well as electrically heated propagators that are suitable for external temperature control. The thermostat is connected between the power socket and the heating device. The included temperature sensor continuously monitors the temperature. Once the set temperature is reached, the thermostat automatically switches off the heating. When the temperature drops again, the heating is switched back on. This helps maintain a consistent temperature and prevents unnecessary heating.

Place the temperature sensor in the growing medium to measure the temperature around the seeds. Connect the heat mat or electrically heated propagator to the thermostat, then plug the thermostat into a power socket. Set the desired temperature. The thermostat will then automatically regulate the heating. Keep the thermostat itself outside the propagator and ensure that both the thermostat and the power socket remain dry. Please note that the thermostat can only control heating through the connected device and cannot actively lower the temperature.
