Description

A very graceful bamboo from the island of Timor, which is close to Indonesia, with black stems. First, the stems are green. But the colour changes to black when the plant grows older. It’s a fast grower that can reach a height of 21 meters. In a temperate climate, the species can be kept as a container plant at a minimum temperature of -4 degrees Celsius. Therefore, the bamboo will stay smaller.

Sowing description: First soak the seeds for 24 hours in water. Then sow them in sowing mix and keep the temperature around 25 degC. Keep the soil constantly moist.
