Product description

This carrion flower is noticeable because of its bell shaped purple flowers of 8 to 12 cm. Other carrion flowers usually have star shaped flowers. This species was discovered in 1909 by Mrs. Leenderts in Heidelberg in the South African province Gauteng. In nature, it is a rare species that only occurs in the mountains of northeastern South Africa and Swaziland nowadays. However, it is seen more often in plant collections because of its peculiar flowers. The small-staying succulent can tolerate drought well and grows well in partial shade.

Sowing description: Sow the seeds in a mix of sand and sowing mix (1:1) and cover lightly. Keep the soil moistened and place container in a light place with a temperature of 30 degrees.
