Description

Black flowers are rarely seen in nature, but this climbing plant from western Australia has elegant black flowers with a yellow heart. In warm regions the plant can grow up to 6 meters, but stays smaller in temperate regions and needs to be protected against frost during the winter. The plant can flower two times every year: once in may-june and once in august-september. It is an easy plant to grow, but a sunny stand is important.

Sowing description: Shortly pour hot water on the seeds, then let them soak in lukewarm water for 48 hours. Sow the seeds in sowing mix and let them germinate in a warm and bright spot. Keep the soil constantly moist by covering the soil with plastic foil or glass. Germination can be irregular.
