Description

It’s a pink variety of the common peacock flower and is rarely seen. The flowers are quite beautiful, already appearing in the second year, and after pollination, pods grow which burst open (you can clearly hear this), presenting brown seeds. It’s a fast grower with beautiful, pinnate leaves and can be kept as a container plant too. Move the plant indoors when it freezes outside and provide a sunny spot.

Sowing description: First soak the seeds in lukewarm water for 24 hours. Then sow them in sowing mix and let them germinate at 20-25 degC.

Annet

Richard

Snelle kiemer, binnen 1 week.

I've seen this growing in New Orleans in USA. It's just beautiful.
